Comic Con Ibadan

Comic Con Ibadan is the first and only comics, animation, and geek event in West Africa’s largest city. We’re on a mission to position Ibadan as a city with a teeming audience of comics, animation, and anime fans, creative potential, and also a large and juicy yet untapped audience of comics and geek culture lovers. We’re a differentiated brand that caters to the entertainment of ardent fans and people who are totally new to the industry alike. We do this by fusing comics and animation with music and other forms of art. We are also on a position to spotlight individual creators and also bridge mitigate against the lack of recognition and appreciation in the Nigerian comics industry through an awards ceremony. Founded by Adeoye Adedayo ERIVIC in 2022, Comic Con Ibadan has had its first convention and Ibadan’s first-ever comic con in March 2023. Positioned as an annual event, Comic Con Ibadan is an entertainment event that will hold annually on the last Saturday in March.
